Planting the Seeds of Sustainability at Snyder Park

The organization Heal the Planet recently hosted a joyful and educational event, Young Seeds in the Park, at Snyder Park in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

With a mission to educate and empower children about the power of daily choices and their profound impact, a new generation of leaders are inspired to think and act sustainably thanks to innovative education, partnerships, and community programs.

Last January 14th 2026, M.E.P. 360 was proud to participate in this meaningful event, helping young “earth lovers” discover simple, hands-on ways to care for the planet.

Approximately 30 children aged 3 to 7 took part in a fun and interactive composting activity. By mixing M.E.P. Juice fruit remnants with cardboard, the children witnessed the “magic” of turning food waste into natural plant food. They then used this soil amendment to plant carrot seeds, creating their own potted vegetable gardens to take home.

Children and parents also enjoyed a selection of fresh, healthy M.E.P. Juices, adding a delicious and nourishing element to the day.

“We received great feedback from the event,” said Joanna Joy, Program Director of Heal the Planet. “Thank you so much M.E.P. 360 for showing up for this amazing collaboration. We look forward to having you again.”

Looking ahead, M.E.P. 360 will continue presenting new ways to use natural, vegan plant food to conserve water and keep chemical products away from our children, out of our homes and communities.
